Craftland Studio Terms and Conditions


By downloading and installing this Craftland Studio you confirm that you have read, understand, consent and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and to these further Terms and Conditions:


1.  Your Use of Craftland Studio

  1. Creator Account.  In order to access and use the Craftland Studio to create UGC, you must first set up a creator account with us, which, as an Account, will be governed by the Terms of Service.
  2. Create your UGC.  You may use the tools and materials Garena provided in the Crartland Studio to create your UGC, such as your own map and other creative content. You may also upload your own material for inclusion in the UGC.
  3. Submit your UGC.   Once you have created your UGC, you may submit your UGC to Garena for possible inclusion in the Services through our online hub (“Online Hub”). All materials submitted through the Online Hub will need to be submitted under your FreeFire account for consideration for publishing.
  4. Publish of UGC.   After submission, your UGC will be reviewed by Garena for compliance with these Terms and Conditions. If, upon review by Garena, your UGC is deemed to comply, Garena may decide to publish your UGC. For the avoidance of doubt, your submission of UGC does not create any obligation on Garena to include your UGC for publication on the Services. Garena will remain free to change its determination regarding suitability, compliance with these Terms and Conditions, or publishing, at any point in its sole discretion, and for whatever reason.

2.  Review of UGC

  1. Submitted UGC.   You acknowledge that your all submissions are subject to Garena’s review process. Garena and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to review, pre-screen, filter, modify, refuse, delete and/or remove your UGC for any reason. Garena’s determination in this respect shall be final.
  2. Published UGC.   In the event of any change in applicable laws, regulations, rules, policies, or for any other reason:
    1. Garena shall have the absolute discretion to (i) modify or filter any published UGC in the Services; (ii) suspend or terminate the distribution and publication of any UGC in the Services, in whole or in part, at any time; and/or (iii) elect to publish UGC not previously published in the Services, based on Garena’s independent determination of suitability; and
    2. Garena may contact you in connection with any action taken in accordance with this Section, and you may be given an opportunity to remedy or amend your UGC and to resubmit it for publication. For the avoidance of doubt, Garena is not under any obligation to provide its decision with respect to any UGC, or to provide any explanation for any decisions made with respect to UGC, and any suggestions or requests from Garena do not in any way constitute conditions which, if met, will necessarily ensure that UGC will be published.
  3. No obligation/endorsement.  Garena may exercise any of its rights at any time, without notice or liability to you or any third party. Garena’s review of any UGC shall not be deemed as an endorsement or approval of such UGC. The User shall be independently responsible for the content of his/her UGC and cannot rely on Garena to flag any content that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

3.  Intellectual Property Rights

  1. User Material.   For any material or other elements uploaded by you to create your UGC (“User Material”), you represent and warrant that your User Material and the use of your User Material does not and will not: (i) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third-party right; (ii) slander, defame, libel, or invade the right of privacy, publicity or other property rights of any other person; (iii) require Garena to obtain licenses from, or pay compensation or provide attribution to, yourself or any third parties; (iv) result in a breach of contract between yourself and a third party; or (v) cause Garena to violate any law or regulation.
  2. Garena Material.  All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights connected with the materials and other elements provided by us (“Garena Material”), as well as any derivative works of Garena Material, shall be retained by Garena and where applicable, third party proprietors.
  3. Ownership of your UGC.  Without prejudice to Clause 3.b above and to the extent that any UGC contributed by you are original works created by you, all ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to such UGC shall be retained by you. You hereby irrevocably authorize Garena or its duly authorized officers and agents to take any acts at their sole discretion to enforce your rights against any infringing third party and you hereby agree to provide Garena with all required evidence and written authorization documents.
  4. Your authorization to us.
    1. In consideration of our provision of the Craftland Studio and other Content (including without limitation, the Garena Material) based on which your UGC is created, you hereby grant Garena and its successors an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable (without your prior consent or authorisation) and transferable (without your prior consent or authorisation) license to use, reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, republish, transmit, modify, adapt, create derivative works of, publicly display, communicate to the public and publicly perform such UGC, or any portion of it, on, through or in connection with the Services in any media formats and through any media channels, including without limitation, for marketing, advertising, promoting and redistributing part of the Services (and its derivative works) and for any other commercial or business purposes at Garena’s sole and absolute discretion.
    2. You further authorize Garena and its successors to use your Account name, Account profile photo, photograph, name, etc., where applicable, for or in connection with the use of your UGC as described in Clause 3.d.i above.
    3. Unless otherwise agreed by Garena, you may not use, or authorize any third party to use, your UGC for any purposes other than in Free Fire.
    4. If any right or interest (such as moral rights) in the UGC may not be licensed or transferred under any applicable laws, you hereby expressly waive and agree not to assert any compensation from Garena.
    5. Garena may, in its sole discretion, offer you rewards or in-game resources based on the actual or planned operation or use of your UGC. Garena reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or deduct from your Account any granted/offered rewards or resources on the grounds of violation of our Terms of Service or applicable laws or regulations.

4.  Complaint of UGC

  1. How to make a complaint.  If you believe that any UGC or User Material infringes a valid intellectual property right or violates any applicable laws, regulations, or is in any other way incompliant with our Terms of Service, you may submit your complaint by email to legal@garena.com. If you find any fault in the function of any UGC, you may submit your complaint through our compliant system. You should provide us with relevant information or documentation as required in the Terms of Service or as otherwise required by us, for us to deal with your complaint.
  2. Your assistance.  If Garena contacts you in connection with any complaint from a third-party regarding your UGC or your User Material or any fault in your UGC’s functioning, you undertake to promptly and professionally give all reasonable assistance requested by Garena for the purpose of administering and resolving complaints or function fault to Garena’s satisfaction. Your failure to act courteously and professionally will be a violation of the Terms of Services. Additionally, if Garena takes action to resolve any dispute, then you agree that Garena’s decision is final and that you will abide by that decision.
  3. No liability.   Garena’s dealing with complaints in accordance with applicable laws and regulations or our Terms of Service shall be deemed as fully fulfilment of our obligations. Garena assumes no responsibility or liability for any UGC or User Material.

5.  Representations and Warranties

You undertake, represent and warrant the following:

  1. ou are at least 18 years old OR if you are younger than 18 years old, you have (and will be deemed to have) obtained your parent’s or legal guardian’s consent to agree to these Terms and Conditions;
  2. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and all policies of Garena prohibiting or otherwise regulating the: inclusion of obscene, sexual, violent content; harassment of any person; use of culturally sensitive content; encouragement of any dangerous, unethical or illegal activities; inclusion of random virtual items in your UGC; discrimination of the basis of age, gender, gender identity or expression, culture, ethnicity, language, national origin, political beliefs, profession, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and technical ability;
  3. You will not upload or otherwise make available any content (including but not limited to any element of your UGC and your User Material) that infringes, violates, or misappropriates any third-party’s legitimate rights (including without limitation, intellectual property rights) or in any other ways violates the laws, regulations, local policies or our Terms of Service, including without limitation, content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, alarming, distressing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, politically sensitive, religiously sensitive, blasphemous, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; and
  4. You acknowledge and agree that you are entirely and solely responsible for all UGC and User Material that you create, upload, post, email, transmit, communicate or otherwise make available on or through the Services, including without limitation, the accuracy, reliability, nature, rights clearance, compliance with law and legal restrictions associated with your UGC or your User Material.

6.  Disclaimer

  1. The Craftland Studio is a neutral tool, and we only provide storage spaces and technical support services for UGC. We make no guarantee or commitment on the accuracy, authenticity, integrity, quality, legality, reliability, completeness, non-infringement of any UGC or User Material and assume no responsibility or liability for the content, functionality, security, or other practices of any UGC or User Material.
  2. We are not obligated to save the data stored by you in the Craftland Studio or any data generated in relation to your use of Craftland Studio. You should save the data on a regular basis. We assume no responsibility or liability for any loss of your data.

7.  General Provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be incorporated into and form part of the Terms of Service. Anything not expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Terms of Service, then the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  2. Nothing in the Terms of Service shall constitute a labour relationship or employment relationship between you and Garena.
